After a week of research at Palazzo Trevisan in late October 2025, it is now L’Abri-Geneva’s turn to host vocal researcher Nina Baietta and composer Sergei Leonov, Associate Artist 24-25.

Le duo undertook a week-long research project around "Cave Tongue / Cave N°0497290":

This immersive performance explores communication beyond words. 𝙉𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙖’s voice moves across forms of non-verbal language, on the borderline of animal signals, primitive phonation and sound structures that our brains recognise without being able to name, enhanced by the live electronic music of 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙞 𝙇𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙫.

The artist is positioned offstage near the control room, where his processing – spatialisation and electronic textures – generates hypnotic psychoacoustic effects, placing the audience at the edge of conscious perception.

Sergei Leonov and Nina Baietta were accompanied by Vania Shatravin-Dostov, who contributed to the sculptural and scenographic work.

The residency showcase took place on 29 January 2026 at L’Abri – Madeleine.
