We are now ready to share with you the seventh edition of Emergentia, a festival dedicated to the next generation of local and international choreographers. Conceived and produced by three Geneva-based organisations focusing on emerging talent, this two-week event will unfold across the city through a variety of formats: local creations, international guest performances, open studios showcasing works in progress, movement and dramaturgy workshops, mediation projects bringing artists’ and audiences’ ideas into dialogue, and informal discussions. Emergentia is a vibrant space that sets in motion gestures and ideas that are confident, contextually rooted, forward-looking and historically grounded.
